National Child Welfare Workforce Institute
Abstract
The purpose of the National Workforce Institute (five years, $3,300,000 per year across all partners) is to support the development of competent and skilled child welfare leaders across the country. This is an opportunity to continue the work of the Child Welfare Recruitment and Retention project by participating in an iitiative to build the capacity of child welfare professionals and improve the systems that recruit, train, supervise, manage and retain them. SUNY Albany will be the lead applicant, Muskie will participate as a subcontractor in the design of the training system and deliver training via distance learning to supervisors.
